Description: Ethics trainings in counseling and behavioral health don't have to be boring or tedious. Through an interactive and enjoyable interactive small-group format this training presents a practical process of ethical decision-making that is both effective and applicable to any situation. A variety of clinical vignettes specifically tailored to private practice issues is used to equip participants with tools that will build competence/confidence and decrease anxiety. Those who have participated in this seminar in the past have often remarked that they found it to be very useful and even fun. Come join us!

Learning objectives: Participants will . . .

• Learn the Multiple Perspective Model of ethical decision-making.
  
• Apply the five key evaluative perspectives necessary to evaluate ethical dilemmas.

FAQs
Parking on Lipscomb University campus:
This seminar is scheduled during the University's spring break week so parking may be easier than at other times. However, depending upon events on campus that day, the number of guest parking spaces on campus near the Ezell Center may be limited; guest spaces are marked. Carpooling might be a good idea. If you arrive before 8:00 a.m. you will have the best chance of getting a space in the Ezell Center parking garage (same as Tennis Center garage, P2 on this map) as well as have time to grab a quick to-go breakfast on campus at Starbucks (in the Bennett Campus Center) or Au Bon Pain (adjacent to The Ezell Center) which you may bring into the seminar.
